In the daylight, the luxurious velvet lamps look stunning. The Suave collectionAll of our Suave lamps are handmade from rattan and velvet. In the evening, the light is diffused by the rattan weaving and creates a lovely pattern on the wall and ceiling. Rattan is a liana or climbing palm that uses trees as support and can get as long as 100 meters. Seventy percent of the existing rattan species are found growing in Indonesia, which is located in South East Asia's tropical forests. Children are taught the specialized skills of weaving rattan by their parents to create baskets, furniture, and lamps. The Suave collection is based on vintage lamp designs that already exist, but our designers have given them a fresh, contemporary spin. All of our Suave lamps are handcrafted from premium velvet and natural rattan. A chic cloth cord and a black metal ceiling cap complete the look of the hang lamps. Natural rattan, a standard fitting, a metal ceiling cap, and a cloth electrical cord are the materials. Maintenance Other than periodic dusting, there is usually no maintenance needed. Additional details: The lamp's cord is 200 cm long; the fitting is an E27; the maximum wattage for the light bulb is 60; and the light bulbs are not included. |
