| In Depth | This rattan and velvet lamp is available from furnfurn.com and is a part of our Suave line. The bottle-shaped hanging lamp has one velvet ring. There is a yellow version of this lamp as well. Whether used alone or in combination with other lamps from this collection, the Suave lamp is stunning. The opulent velvet lamps look stunning in natural light. And a real eye-catcher at night, when the light is softened by the rattan weaving and makes a lovely pattern on the wall and ceiling. Rattan and velvet are used to make each of our Suave lamps by hand. Rattan is a 100-meter-long climbing palm or liana that uses trees as support. Seventy percent of the existing rattan species are found in Indonesia, which is home to tropical forests in South East Asia. Parents teach their kids the specialized skills of weaving rattan into baskets, furniture, and lamps. Existing vintage lamp designs served as the basis for our designers' Suave collection, which they updated with a fresh, vibrant aesthetic. Each and every one of our Suave lamps is made by hand using premium velvet and natural rattan. A chic cloth cord and a black metal ceiling cap complete the look of the hanging lamps. Natural rattan, electrical cloth cord, a standard fitting, and a metal ceiling cap are the materials. Maintenance Other than periodic dusting, there is typically no maintenance needed. Additional details: The lamp's cord is 200 cm long; the fitting is a type E27; and the maximum wattage for the light bulb is 60. |
